Fundamental Hoops was organized with the intent that some of the money raised from the hosted tournaments, would be used in the spring to help sponsor any student athletes that are in need of financial assistance. With costs of AAU ranging from $500-$900, student athletes should not be unable to extend their basketball development through the spring season because of affordability.

Mission Statement
Fundamental Hoops was organized to provide travel, recreation, and other youth basketball programs in the New England area with the opportunity to participate in properly organized tournament events at high profile colleges and universities that many towns do not get to experience. Fundamental Hoops will also provide teams the opportunity of a discounted entry fee or will sponsor teams that are in need of financial assistance. Fundamental Hoops is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
